I’m excited to have won first place in food criticism for my review of Emeril’s in New Orleans. It’s such an honor to be included again this year alongside some of the greatest writers in America, including so many legends I admire from the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Philadelphia Inquirer, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Food Section, CNN, NBC News and others in these awards.
