Here’s a quick look inside an executive junior suite at the ultra-posh The Lanesborough, where I stayed briefly while in London recently to research the city’s renaissance of grand British grills. Although not the largest suite of this trip, this was easily the most lavish. The welcome amenity from the kitchen was an absolutely spectacular display of canapés and crudités — one of the coolest welcome amenities I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world, and I’ve seen quite a few over the years.
This Regency splendor of this 93-room hotel — and my ever-present butler — made me feel like a Bridgerton. Or maybe a Featherington? Still, I felt very posh. Here’s a peek inside my room:
