While The Savoy is rightfully famous for its spectacular views of the River Thames, this little room where I stayed for a couple nights on my recent trip to London didn’t have a view at all — merely the roof of an interior courtyard. But that was fine for this stay since my research around town didn’t allow me much time to fully enjoy the room anyway. On the upside, while it was one of the smallest rooms I’ve stayed in lately, this Deluxe King room was indeed perfectly comfortable. And the location, at The Strand on the edge of Covent Garden, is undeniably great. Here’s a very quick look:Â
