The Vessel at Hudson Yards

Photo of the Week: The Vessel at Hudson Yards, New York City

Have you been? I finally made it to Hudson Yards to climb The Vessel. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do since it opened to the public in 2019, but every time I’ve been in New York, it’s been because of work. But I just found myself in the city with a few hours to enjoy being a tourist, and I was staying at the adjacent Equinox Hotel, so I finally made it to The Vessel. Check it out:

Sadly, parts of the sculpture are now completely off-limits, and other parts are covered in wire fencing, because a few too many people decided to jump, mostly during the pandemic. But even with that eerie cloud hanging over the tower, it’s still an amazing experience. I highly recommend visiting and climbing.
