It’s hard to believe that I lived in San Francisco for three years and never visited Alamo Square. These Victorian “painted ladies” were built in the 1890s (by the guy who lived in those days in the sixth house from the right, with the red trim on the porch now). The skyline behind the houses must have looked a lot different back then, huh?
