What to Eat Next in Mexico City: Incredible Fish Tacos at Zanaya

  • September 2, 2018

Absolutely incredible. The ultimate highlight — of many highs — of my most recent dining tour of Mexico City was the Zarandeado fish tacos at Zanaya, the new(ish) restaurant on the edge of the courtyard at the Four Seasons hotel. Rising-star chef Tonatiuh Cuevas brings Pacific snapper from Nayarit, which he slathers with guajillo chile salsa and grills over a wood fire. They serve it family style with several salsas (including a serrano aguachile that’ll melt your tongue), grilled onions and handmade corn tortillas. Do not skip this.
