The former home and studio of Luis Barragán in Mexico City has been meticulously preserved and now functions as a museum and art center. Luis Barragán was one of the most important architects of North American mid-century design.
From what I can gather, the Barragán house was not damaged in the recent earthquakes. However, the museum is currently closed so that the staff can devote all their time and resources to helping their community rebound and rebuild.
If you ever find yourself in Mexico City, and you have any interest in architecture and design, I highly recommend visiting Casa Luis Barragán.
To help with earthquake relief in Mexico, here are some suggestions.
