Photo of the Week: Sydney Opera House

  • April 30, 2017
  • Brad A. Johnson

The last time I was in Sydney a few years ago, I was amazed at the spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the harbor and the famous opera house. This was the view from my bedroom at the Park Hyatt. I snapped this shot from my balcony just after sunrise, when the sun finally broke through the morning clouds. Moments earlier, the sky exploded with pinks, yellows and oranges, which I also captured, but I love the simple, washed-out warmth of this photo best.
