One of my favorite things about Sue Ann’s American Kitchen in Placentia is the focus on casseroles for lunch. Casseroles don’t get the respect they deserve. And I’m happy to see chef Gillian Clark boldly embracing this culinary relic of mid-century America at her very cool new restaurant in north Orange County. Here are the before and after photos of my run-in with a casserole called Roman Holiday. Mmmm.
