Absinthe at Caesars Palace is a wildly hilarious and raunchy acrobat/burlesque/variety show with a host who resembles a Sacha Baron Cohen character, plus his trusty but ditzy assistant and a roster of very well-endowed, pin-up-worthy, Cirque du Soleil-quality acrobats.
Absinthe was originally intended as a temporary pop-up, housed in a small tent erected on Caesars’ front sidewalk. But it proved too good, too funny and just too damned entertaining to be merely a pop-up, thus the show has been extended for an indefinite run. Beware: The show will offend you from the opening line of the introduction, devolving into a downward-sucking spiral of political incorrectness and sexual tension that would make even Larry Flynt blush.
